I think that teens are most easily influenced by their peers. This often is a bad thing as it relates to peer pressure to use drugs, but it can be a positive thing when talking to peers about the real dangers of drugs and how to stay drug free. In my high school, unfortunately, drugs are a real problem. Sometimes they are sold, bought and even taken on our very campus. I know many students who use or have used drugs, including some of my closest friends. I've seen the effects these substances have on teenagers and how they corrupt lives so easily. I've also seen how peer pressure can turn a drug-free teen into a user. Having avoided drugs throughout my high school years -- even though I've been pressured to try drugs -- and seeing my friends get into drugs, I can relate to the issues that teens are facing in their schools everyday.
